What is J.A.M.?
J.A.M. (Jesus and Me) is a ministry for Kindergarten – Fifth graders designed to lead children to know, love, and follow Jesus by creating an environment where they experience relevant Bible study, participate in genuine worship and connect relationally through small groups.  Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and kid-friendly environment where children can learn to know, love and serve God.  We believe children learn best through experience, so we use many hands-on activities like music, drama, art, and storytelling to teach God's story, using the 252basics curriculum.  (www.252basics.com)

When does J.A.M. meet?
The first session of J.A.M. meets every Sunday morning from 9 to 9:45 a.m. in the fellowship hall at the back of our building.  At 10 a.m. children join their families for a time of family worship.  Around 10:30 – 10:40, children are dismissed for the second session of J.A.M.

What about younger children?
Wee-Jam (for infants through age 2) and Pre-Jam (for preschool children) meet at the same times as J.A.M. in the left hallway of our main building.

Our children’s coordinators have specially designed an engaging Bible curriculum to suit the needs and interests of our young children.

For further information about our children’s ministry, contact our J.A.M. coordinator, Katie Glisson, by email and specify “JAM” in the subject line.

Curriculum?
"252Basics" is a unique approach to curriculum. It is taught over a three-year track, and includes 150 Bible Stories and is based on a Core Virtue and Memory Verse as the framework for each month.  The curriculum is built around three Basic Truths every child should embrace according to what Jesus modeled for us in Luke 2:52.
1. I need to make the wise choice. (Jesus grew in wisdom)
2. I can trust God no matter what.  (Jesus grew in favor with God)
3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated. (Jesus grew in favor with man)
